Ingredients

100% Organic Kelp Powder ( Ascophyllum nodosum )

Tahini Sauce for Hummus

• 1 and ½ tablespoon of lime juice

• 1 teaspoon of olive oil or coconut oil or vegetable oil

• 1/2 teaspoon of coffee (1/5 teaspoon) of Kelp

• 4 tablespoons of water

• 1/2 cup of sesame seeds

Grind the fine sesame seeds in a coffee mill. Put the other ingredients in a food processor at medium speed and add the ground seeds, process until the mixture has a creamy and thick appearance.

HUMMUS: This paste is perfect to serve as a starter on toasts, to serve on bread as in this recipe here.

• 150g of chickpeas already cooked

• Juice of half a lemon

• 1 clove of garlic

• 1 tablespoon of olive oil

• Water q.b

• 1 dessert spoon of tahini (recipe above) - if you want more creamy you can add 1 tablespoon

• Black pepper, to taste

• Sea salt, to taste.

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and grind until it becomes a paste. If necessary add a little more water or oil. And it is ready to be served.

Warnings

  • If you take Kelp daily, other sources of iodine should be avoided.
  • If you are taking any iodine or thyroid medication, you should seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking Kelp.
  • Kelp must not be used in case of cancer of the Thyroid.
  • It is advisable to stop for 2 weeks after every 2 weeks of use.
